Yes, talking about this to your kids is very important as soon as they turn toward an understanding age. People these days are quite frustrated so it’s better to keep our kids aware.

It’s also important to continue having conversations with them as they grow older and can understand more complex issues related to sexual abuse. I agree not taking about it is the biggest hindrance.. Kids and parents should open up and work together with life coaches like us to help in building better future for all of us. This is a very sensitive topic but seriously need attention.

Child abuse is a serious issue that had a lot of misinformation and stigma around it still. I agree with her points that parents’ consent and identifying physical and non-physical touches are so important.
